Add Types

Learn how to create a Type that will be managed and assigned in the module.



Start Adding Types

1. Select Add in the Types Tab under the Education Module. 

2. Fill in the required fields in the Details Tab & Add Learning Materials (Available in the Add Learning Materials Link).

Config
The required fields will change based on the Type dropdown selected. Read more about adding different Types below:

Required Fields by Type

Certification

  • Description - Name of the Certification
  • Type - Certification
  • Link - Add a link to certification details, required test, etc.
  • How Often - How often this certification must be renewed or administered
  • Workflow - If the certification will limit a specific Module accessibility 
  • Facility - If this certification is only applicable to specific facilities, select them to remove the "All" tag
  • Groups - If this certification only applies to a certain group of people, select the Group
  • Last Reviewed - The date when this certification was last reviewed
  • By - Who was responsible for reviewing the certification
  • Grace Period Months - Designate the number of months staff will be able to log in to Sonar beyond certification expiration

Policy

  • Description - Name of the hospital/department policy
  • Type - Policy
  • How Often - How often this policy must be renewed or administered
  • Workflow - If the policy will limit a specific Module's accessibility based on status
  • Facility - If this policy is only applicable to specific facilities, select them to remove the "All" tag
  • Groups - If this policy only applies to a certain group of people, select the Group
  • Last Reviewed - The date when this policy was last reviewed
  • By - Who was responsible for reviewing the policy

Competency For Items

  • Description - Name of the competency
  • Type - Competency For Items
  • How Often - How often this competency must be renewed or administered
  • Workflow - If the competency will limit a specific Module's accessibility based on status.
  • Facility - If this competency is only applicable to specific facilities, select them to remove the "All" tag
  • Groups - If this competency only applies to a certain group of people, select the Group
  • Last Reviewed - The date when this competency was last reviewed
  • By - Who is responsible for reviewing the competency
  • Items Tab - The surgical Items that are related to this competency
