Assembly Audits

Article summary

Quality audits can be conducted from within the Assemble Module. Once recorded, these Assembly Audits can be viewed within the Quality Module on the Audits Tab. Learn more about navigating the Audits Home Screen.


Start an Assembly Audit

There are multiple ways to begin an audit on an assembly.

  1.  Audit Radio button on the Assembly Home Screen
  2.  Audit Tab within an assembly
  3.  Quality Module Audit Tab begin a new audit

Assembly Audit Tab

The Assembly Audit Tab is where the audit steps will be recorded. When starting an audit from within an active assembly, switch to the Audit tab and begin by scanning your badge or selecting your name from the dropdown list. The audit steps will appear once this selection has been made.

Config
Using the Audit radio button on the Assembly Home Screen will automatically begin an Assembly Audit. The "Audited By" field will automatically fill in based on the user who scans the tray to begin the audit.

Audit Steps

Move down the list assessing the subject of the audit carefully. If an audit step is not satisfied, fail that step. Otherwise mark it as passed. If all of the steps have been passed, it is possible to check all of the boxes at once. Simply click the All Passed option at the top of the section. Specify any notes for each of the steps as needed.

Audit Event Media

This area is used to add pictures, videos, or additional documentation. Upload any pictures, videos, or documentation from your computer, attached webcam, or mobile device to Sonar. Any media added will be available to view at any time within the associated audit.


Audit Prods

To audit individual instruments, check the box to Audit Prods

Return to the Prods Tab to conduct this portion of the audit.


Audit Steps 

The General Tab on the right side of the screen will display audit steps for each individual instrument. Check the box next to an Event subtype to record an issue with the selected instrument. Add any notes as needed.

Prod List

Once an Event has been recorded for a specific instrument, the details will display in the Prod List section on the Audit Tab.


Top Buttons

Actions

-> Hide Pics: Making this selection will hide the pictures and minimize the height of each row.Note that the default is to show pictures.

-> Show Pics: If pictures have been hidden, making this selection will cause them to display again

Search Bar

Search for a product in the count sheet by partial / full part number or name.

Exclude Found

Select the check box to exclude all products already marked as found during assembly.

Total Quantities

The first number, 10, represents the total quantity of products called for on the item count sheet. The second number, 9, displays the quantity marked as found during assembly. The third number, 9, changes based on the quantity marked as found during the audit.


Cancel Audit

The main actions menu in the top right corner of the screen pertains to the assembly. These actions are explained in Assembly Actions. Using the Cancel option in the actions menu will cancel the entire assembly and audit. To just end the audit, select Cancel Audit on the Audit Tab.
