Add or Remove Items in a Load

Scan Button

When the Scan Button is on (green), scan the production labels of any item on this load. Before scanning, click on the gray rectangle on the bottom of your screen to allow for the scans to register.

Add Button

Manually add an item. Search for the item and select the inventory number (if applicable).

Remove Button

Select a scanned item and remove it from the load.

Peel Pack Tracking
If you have a large amount of peel packs to scan that are all the same, you may enter the amount in the Quantity (Qty) section. However, each production label has a unique pRef that is tracked by Sonar, so if your facility wants to track by pRef, do not use this Qty section option.

Add Sterilization Tests

Depending on the sterilization method, parameter, and facility preferences, there may be a Bowie Dick Added and/or a Bio Indicator Added checkbox. Check the boxes accordingly if either are added to a load. The message will be highlighted in red if that test is required for the load.

Config
Any BI requirements such as "Bowie Dick required before any BI load" or "include BI on every prevac load" or Include BI on loads with implants" can be configured by Admin users in Facility -> Sterilizers and Facility -> Sterilizer Params

Status Area

The status bar will show up in each of these phases and is meant to reflect where the load is in the sterilization process. Click on the next status upon physically doing so with the load for accurate documentation. In this case, we have just entered all possible information into the building status page, so it is time to put this load into the sterilizer and then select the Sterilizing status. Upon changing the status, click Done on the top right of your screen to exit the load.
