Options

1. Decide on sterilizer and parameter names and stick to a standard naming process. 

2. Choose your requirements for each specific parameter such as:

• Include lot number documentation for Bowie Dicks?
• Require BI's in steam or low temp loads?
• Require a BI when a tray containing implants is scanned?
• Document chemical indicator results?
• Require a second staff remember to "double-check" the load before putting into the sterilizer?

3. When will a load report be printed:

• When putting a load into the autoclave?
• When releasing a load/BI?
• Never?
