Sterilize Overview

Get away from paper tracking and documentation of sterilizers, parameters, and biologicals. The sterilize module makes it easy and efficient to track all sterilizer loads on a daily basis. Include the load numbers, trays, parameters, controls, biological indicators/tests, and much more! 

The sterilize module has many optional features that can manage quality and patient safety in the department such as:

• Blocks trays with noncomplying parameters from being scanned into the wrong sterilizer or wrong parameter.
• Blocks trays from being scanned into a sterilizer that are missing critical instruments.
• Requires an active, matching lot number from a control for a BI to be read.
• Requires input of sterilize parameters to meet the requirements of the parameters the load was ran under.
• Notifies staff of any machines down for maintenance.
• Provides an accessible load history for any load ever documented in Sonar at the facility.
