In this section, learn about the Facilities Module -> Users -> General Tab.This can assist you in creating / editing a user and managing their Sonar access.

Select a user (or add one) to get started.


User Information

Enter the user's general information: First & Last Name, Username, Initials, and Email.

Mandatory Fields

All of the fields are mandatory to add a new user. Be sure to fill this information in completely and accurately!

The Username field is directly related to Enterprise Authentication. It is important to enter the user's hospital issued username. Sonar utilizes this field to search for the user's Active Directory account and confirm the password entered is correct.

Role

The user's Sonar role, which limits the amount of access a user has.

Primary Facility

The facility the user is at the majority of the time.

Can Access Other Facilities

Check this box if the user should have access to log in to shared health system facilities in Sonar other than their primary facility.

Beam Me Up
The Beam Me Up icon, pictured below, allows user to switch from facility to facility if they have the Can Access Other Facilities box checked.

Upload Picture

Upload a Sonar user profile picture. Select a file or take a picture from your device.
