# Assembly Home Screen

## Scan or Add an Item Manually

#### Scan

When the **Scan Button** is on (green), scan the permanent or production label of any Item Inventory.

If **Assemble** is selected, a new assembly of that count sheet for that item inventory will appear. For more information on how to assemble an item, visit [Assembly Detail](https://sonar-docs.ascendco.cloud/v1/docs/assembly-overview-1).

If **Reprint** is selected, the previous completed assembly print options and information for that inventory will appear.

If **Audit** is selected, the audit tools and information for that item inventory will appear.

#### Add an Item Manually

Select the **Add Button** to add an item. Enter part of or the complete name of the item to find the item. Click on it and hit the **Select Button.** If the item is tracked by inventory, select an inventory number.

If **Assemble** is selected, a new assembly of that count sheet for that item inventory will appear.

If **Reprint** is selected, the previous completed assembly print options and information for that inventory will appear.

If **Audit** is selected, the audit tools and information for that item inventory will appear.
