Add & Edit Controls

Add and document controls to all necessary BI readers before your first load of the day.

Add a Control

Choose a BI Reader and click New.Sonar is compatible with multiple BI brands to be able to scan the barcode on the BI, which will retrieve the lot number and expiration date. If applicable, you will only be required to enter the well number the BI control will be placed in. If scanning the barcode does not work, you may enter the information by clicking Select Manually. When finished inputting information, click Save.

Edit / Read a Control

Under Status, Sonar gives you a message that your BI control result is ready to be documented.

Click on Edit.

Read your BI Result by checking the Positive or Negative box. Time Out and Record By will automatically be filled in.

Click on Save to save your changes. Repeat steps for all necessary BI control readers.

View any previous control(s) and result(s).

Select a date range and click on Filter.
